This is the Statt Mann Baby!! Time to Scatt a little bit.
It doesn’t matter what I think of Michael Schumacher, maybe the greatest driver to ever strap on a car. What does Fernando Alonso, the man who is replacing Schumacher on the top step of the F1 podium, think of him?
“To become champion when Michael was still on the track has maybe more value than when he retired. I was extremely lucky to have won the last two championships he raced.
“All the drivers wish him the best for his new life with family. It has been a pleasure for us to race with him.”
Schumacher gave way to no one on a racetrack. Some even said it was his biggest fault.
But as we heard from Alonso, men respect those who don’t give way to them.
Schumacher leaves with seven championships. He won 37 percent of the time over 16 seasons. Those would be stunning numbers even if they weren’t against the best in the world.
Thanks Michael.
Peace.
