Are you as tired of Danica Patrick as I am?

Certainly she’s a good driver and could one day be excellent or even great.  In my book good drivers win.  Excellent drivers win on purpose and great drivers win with seventh place cars.  I don't see whining, pouting and a bad attitude anywhere in those equations.

And don’t tell me about Tony Stewart’s tirades.  What excuses did you make for him?  Didn't he undergo some excruciating criticism and ended up in anger management classes?

And, what if Danica had reached Ryan Briscoe at Indy?  What was she going to do?  Clown for the cameras?  Hit him?

I have a good picture of Briscoe or anyone else getting out of a racing cockpit to take any of that.  What’s going to happen one day when she reaches a driver who’s not in the mood?  Don't drivers often protect themselves when confronted or attacked?

If Danica lines up and takes on the same risks shouldn’t she be treated just like any other driver?

Maybe Danica should be in NASCAR.  Her latest antics fit that world.

In the meantime, why not give the whining and pouting and attitude a rest and get on with the process of becoming a great driver.

Otherwise, one win might make a career.  And with that much talent, wouldn’t that be sad.
