SpeedFreaks Television Kicks off before Monday Night Football
Team Mopar’s Gary Scelzi & Brian Collins Come Clean
With the Help of NASCAR’S Clint Bowyer
Hollywood, CA (October 6, 2008)– It’s fourth and twenty, four seconds left in the game and SpeedFreaks trail by five. What’s next? Well, expect nothing less than for the Freaks to throw the Hail Freakin’ Mary and go for the knock out win tonight with two of the biggest names in their respective motorsports series.
Come see why NHRA’s Gary Scelzi does his best to lose this game opener with a backwards bet, bad mathematics and some erroneous advice from NASCAR Sprint Cup Chase contender Clint Bowyer. However, by default, the star athlete in this nail biter is Mopar Off Road Champion Brian Collins. He’s got the hot chick at the end of the game, loads of guns and a tendency to spend a lot time in the desert exceeding 100 miles per hour. You’ll see ALL this tonight on SpeedFreaks.
“Just like most racing fans, or all sports fans for that matter, we’re tired of the trite and set up reality bits you see on television today,” says SpeedFreaks host Kenny Sargent. “What SpeedFreaks TV has done is strip off the gloss, left the cracks alone, trashed the scripts and rolled our high def cameras on the biggest cats in motorsports. Gary Scelzi and Brian Collins were kind enough to let us invade their personal space for days. So man, its all there, a wild gun collection to why drag racers should stay in a straight line to catheters, tonight on MavTV.”
Each show this season is scheduled to air on the MavTV cable and satellite network (U.S., Canada and the U.K.) on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m.PT), immediately prior to kick-off of Monday Night Football (check local cable or satellite provider for MavTV in your area). After the TV airing, full episodes will be available for download at www.MavTV.com and www.SpeedFreaks.TV.
Next week, October 13, the greatest name in drag racing, 'Big Daddy' Don Garlits allows the Freaks unprecedented access to his Ocala Empire. The legend will grow even more. It’s full Freak.
