This is the Statt Mann Baby!!  Time to Scatt a little bit.

I will take NASCAR drivers at their word and believe that they have the best interests of “the kids” when they act the way they do out of their race cars.

I’ll ignore the times they’ve been busted for driving under the influence or crashed their cars into their neighbor’s SUV or any nearby ditch.  They should be glad there was no fire hydrant, neighbor’s tree or golf club nearby.

And run-ins with local law enforcement, well let’s not think about that.  That kind of thing happens in Phoenix.  Is that still in America?

And I’ll take them at their word when they say they want to give back some of their well earned millions by starting a new race team with the dregs of another team forced out of business.

Of course, that’s as long as there’s no women or minorities anywhere in the picture and there’s access to other people’s money to really make this work.  I mean what’s a business if you’re spending your own money, right?

And, I wonder if doing it for the kids means you can’t pose or pout and stomp your feet and throw fits about the slow drivers who won’t get out of your way?

Remember, it’s for the kids, right?
