This is the Statt Mann Baby. Time to Scatt a little bit…
Red Bull F1 driver Max Verstappen has always been fast since he started six years ago in Austria at 17.
The undisciplined speed eventually was harnessed and now he’s a favorite to block Lewis Hamilton’s charge to a record eighth World Championship.
But Verstappen has this curious belief that anyone on the track should get out of his way when he comes close.
Just today in Italy he punted Hamilton from the track at the start of the race. Then there was a hideously scary charge through Hamilton at mid-race. Max’s car ended up rolling over Hamilton’s even bouncing off Lewis’ head where it landed.
Of course, Max and most of his fans say it was Hamilton’s fault because he didn’t make way for the charging Red Bull. Race stewards, however, didn’t see it that way, ruling it was Max’s responsibility to avoid the crash. He gets a three place grid penalty next race in Russia.
Someone once told me Max was a beast. I tend to agree.
Peace.
