A.J. Allmendinger on Rookie, Racing & Rest

NASCAR Sprint Cup driver A.J. Allmendinger, a former winner in the Champ Car open-wheel series, is back in that form of racing with a ride in the Indy 500 with Penske Racing. Allmendinger, though, with all his success in Champ Car is a rookie at The 500 so he had to pass his rookie tests this weekend at The Speedway. He talked about being a rookie and what he’ll do with his time during the next two weeks preparing for The Indianapolis 500.
