Chickened out did you? What’s so hard about one of the biggest IMSA headlines this week?

Hyundai may put its Genesis brand into IMSA as an hybrid prototype. No date to make the step up in class.

Hyundai already races and dominates in the Touring Car class. But this would be a step up to racing on Sundays with the big brands like Acura, BMW, Cadillac, and Porsche.

I guess if Cadillac can do it so can Genesis. They’re after the same showroom buyer.

Whenever the Genesis prototype is ready for competition, I’d bet it’ll be competitive. Hyundai just swept the Acropolis podium in the World Rally Championship round in Greece.

It plays for keeps.
