Talk about brotherly love. In today’s Funny Car drag racing, Cruz Pedregon took the 2008 Powerade Championship with an assist from his brother Tony.
Tony Pedregon, the defending Funny Car Champion, defeated Robert Hight in round one, thus eliminating the final contender standing in his brother’s way.
The Championship is the second for Cruz Pedregon, the first coming 16 years ago in 1992. What an incredible career for a man who would have had numerous championships if it weren’t for the dominator, John Force.
In fact, Cruz Pedregon is the only Driver to win a championship in the 90’s besides the aforementioned Force.
And never forget, the aforementioned SpeedFreaks thong, too! (inside joke)

What's that? Ohhh… you didn't catch his MSM last week on the air? Well, here it is again… quite dirty, too!

The biggest event in off-road racing begins in two weeks. The SCORE Baja 1000 takes place every November on the Baja Peninsula of Mexico. This year it’s a loop track, 681 rugged desert miles starting and finishing in Ensenada.
The brutal test of endurance is an all-out overnight sprint, won usually by motorcycles. Winning times range anywhere from 14 to 24 hours.
Standout Honda team rider Johnny Campbell will be going for his 12th Baja 1000 win in the last 13 years.
Who's your money on… Mopar's Brian Collins with the #1 draw? The ever popular Robby Gordon? What about Cameron or Grant Steele?
