NASCAR Director of Competition Elton Sawyer stepped into the spotlight at Martinsville where controversy changed the race results and the lineup for the Final Four in Phoenix. Sawyer explained why Christopher Bell’s last turn move to get enough points for the final race in Phoenix was illegal for safety reasons.
