If you’ve been paying attention you know I like driving skill versus hype.  If you appreciate the same, consider Tanner Foust.

I watched him win his class this weekend at the Oregon Trail Rally outside Portland.

Foust might be the only driver in America who could finish in the top five of both the Rally America National Championship and the Formula Drift National Championship.

He’s qualified to compete in D1 international drift competition.

He has experience road racing and was once fired from a job for drifting a 48-foot bus around a Vail, Colorado parking lot.

Most of the above came after he got his degree in molecular biology.  He can probably type too ladies!

The point is, when you talk about young guns, don’t fall for the advertising hype.  Find out who the ballers are for your self.

Even motorsports has a real life when you make a right turn off Madison Avenue.
