This is the Statt Mann Baby. It's time to Scatt a little bit.

Here's more proof that you can't leave points on the table in any racing series.

We all know about the NASCAR Sprint Cup series where Jimmie Johnson won by 39 points last year with nearly seven thousand points available.

And I've talked about the Continental Tire GT Series where Jack Roush Jr. and Billy Johnson finished six of ten events either first or second but wound up fifth in the final standings because of a bad start to the season at Daytona.

Now there comes the Continental Tire ST series where two teams, four drivers, wound up the season tied in points.  The tie-breakers had to go down to their third place finishes over a long season.

The championship was finally earned by Compass360 Racing'S Lawson Aschenbach and David Thilenius.

Like I said, there's nothing bigger, or sometimes more painful, than points left on the table.

Peace.
