As Barak Obama is set to be sworn in as our next President, it's a perfect time to reflect the accomplishments of African Americans and equality in motorsports. The trails blazed by such men as Wendell Scott and Willy T. Ribbs is now being taken up by talented young men such as Antron Brown, Lewis Hamilton and James Stewart.
Hopefully this emerging trend will continue so more black drivers and riders will excel in motorsports. Because, after all, in racing, it's results, not race, that matters most.
