Carl EdwardsNASCAR driver Carl Edwards announced his retirement from full-time NASCAR racing this week. The 2007 NASCAR Busch Series champion nearly won the 2011 Sprint Cup title when he finished in a tie with Tony Stewart. Tie-breakers, though, gave the championship to Stewart. Edwards now says the 2016 season was his last and he will now consider other things for his life including raising his family.
