Former NASCAR Cup team owner Tinsley Hughes is one of the very few African American team owners in the industry’s history. Drivers such as Mike Skinner, Carl Long, Ron Hornaday Jr. and even three-time NASCAR Winston Cup champion Darrell Waltrip all drove for him.
